Frida Kahlo
In memory of Frida Kahlo, one of my favorite artists.
She is a remarkable woman who persevered despite living through immense physical pain for most of her life and endured heartbreak from the one man she loved more than life itself.
Never once the victim, Kahlo just went on living and dreaming.
She was unapologetic about who she was and that’s why she continues to shine today. She never hid behind a facade or made excuses for who she was.
She never pretended to be someone else, she just was.
